About Me and Chance of Gold Farms

Horses have been a part of my life since I was born. I have been active in breeding, showing, and horse racing for many years. In 1993 a change had to occur so I researched miniatures and found a new direction.

I look to breed and show top quality miniatures with spectacular movement and confirmation. I have succeeded in building a nice but small group of horses. I take pride in having bred several top show horses and bringing home several national and world awards.  I look to get back in the driving ring with a few new prospects for the future.

I couldn’t have made it this far without the support of my parents Rita and Ken Mehlhope.  I have also made many friends in this business far too many to count but they know who they are.
